Name: Iceblue Valentino

Apollo as he is known at home is our little black number! He is a 7 year old Dutch Gelding, imported from Holland in November last year. He has previously show jumped in Holland but since coming to the UK he has had a career change to dressage. We have worked on him through the winter and he has come out this spring to qualify for the British Dressage Summer Regional Championships at Novice with scores over 70%. He shows great ability for the higher level work so hopefully he will be ready to compete at PSG in 2010.

Name: Broadstone Liquorice

Liquorice is a 15 year old British Warmblood mare that was bought for Jenny as a school master to learn upon, she has helped Jenny to get from being a nervous rider to be out and about competing and enjoying her horses. She works at medium level dressage and has also jumped British Novice and Discovery BSJA. In 2006 she was 10^th at Sheepgate at the under 25 championships with Mark and in 2008 Jenny started to compete her gaining good scores at prelim level. Liquorice has also been broken to side saddle so has many strings to her bow.

Name: Earendil Elentari

Owner: Mr A E Totney and Mark Walters

Where do we begin! Tara is a 14 year old Haflinger mare that was bought for Mark as his first horse by his grandfather as an unbroken 4 year old having just had her 1^st foal weaned. Tara has won numerous championships and titles over the years with Mark and has also won at affiliated dressage. She competed with Young Rider Emily Richards in BYRDS and Under 21’s UK, and has the ability to turn her hoof to whatever challenges you throw at her. In 2003 she won the award for Most Improved Haflinger, from the Haflinger Society of Great Britain and also started side saddle. This lead on to a very successful career in side saddle and in 2006 she won her first international in France under her long term side saddle partner Claire Brown who is also our fantastic yard Vet.

Owner: Mark Walters and Claire Brown

Jack as he is known is our new arrival and Marks first home bred! Born in June 2009 he is only just starting to show the world his talents! He is out of Tara by a TB Stallion Revolution who is an advanced eventer. He is full of character just like his mother so hopefully we will have another super star in our stables in a few years.

Name: Hawtins Dartagnion

Owner: Toni-Anne Jennings

Tango is another relatively new arrival to our stables. He is an 8 year old Hanoverian gelding who was bought in March 2009. After a sad start to the year losing Toni’s homebred gelding Liberarchie after an injury Tango is helping to get Toni back ontrack and fulfil her ambitions with her horses. He is an impressive horse with lots to offer so watch this space.
